I took a hickory drumstick (factory second: not as straight as the more expensive, no cracks and only a $1.00 per stick) sanded the handle area to make just enough room for the washer to fit nice and snug. It took some tapping with a hammer to get them on. a little electrical tape to hold the washers in place and some hockey tape for the handle and tada... a Rondel Waster. I tried 4 of them out over the weekend and all 4 held up with no problems. I could make 12 for a little under 30 bucks. Enjoy, comments welcome and thanks for looking.

Could you make me 2? Will pay for shipping! The rouded tip on the end helps dull impact (see classical fencing), and drumsticks are at least covered with -something- to protect it from the elements. Fantastic innovation Chuck! Well done!  |
